Bilingual day care (English / German)
Our bilingual day care center at Kinzigstraße works according to the immersion concept. German and English speaking staff accompanies children in their native language. The children experience both languages as a natural part of everyday life at the daycare. We play, tell, sing, encourage, and comfort in German as well as English.
Music serves as a unique and unifying element. In our day care center it is used as a way of communication, and offers opportunities beyond the spoken word. Tones, sounds, and rhythms can express emotions or tell a story. Music allows children to relax or to give rise to creative movements.
The day care center (formerly Kita Stralauer Allee) has been certified by an external evaluation in March 2012 and received four stars for "good and very good educational quality". You will find the results in detail at the "Certificate of educational quality education" (PDF).

If you are interested you can register directly online with our waiting list form. Please consider that we cannot allow unborn children on the list. Due to the small amount of available places, we can only consider children that have at least one parent with English as a first language.
